Antiques and collectibles, what we like to call future antiques, yes, it works that way, you can literally buy something today and in a few years it can be an antique, that is the secret because what you get today will be at a much lower price than what you can buy it for ten or twenty years from now.
You might say who has the time to wait for 10 or 20 years for the value of an item to increase?
Well, that is what they call long term investment and it is something that is done every day, think about planting a pine tree and how long it takes to get your money out of that crop, well you can think of antiques and collectibles in much the same way, comics for instance, I bought several old comics, back ten years ago, and they were already old then, but now, they are at a premium.
Knowing what will increase in value and what will decrease in value now that is the real challenge.
